Three tough challenges

Semiconductor shortage underlines the need for recycling

Right now, in September 2022, the global situation is exerting a great deal of pressure on most manufacturers. The semiconductor shortage is affecting us too, and there’s no quick fix. This shines a spotlight on one central issue – how can we increase recycling of our products? Our circuit boards are almost never faulty, and it would be marvellous if we could get them back at the end of their useful lives!

Transportation has a major impact

One thing that’s clear is that the work of finding suppliers in our local area is a priority. Transportation is a huge source of emissions, and there’s a lot to be gained not only by streamlining transportation but also by shortening routes. The transport industry is complex, so it’s not easy, but we’re working on it.

More circular models

We’re searching high and low for new models and partnerships for creating circular models for our products. This means reusing our products instead of discarding them. No one would be happier than us if we could develop systems so they returned to us in a rational way in mixed deliveries. We know that our products last a long time. Servicing and replacing worn parts can extend their lifespan indefinitely.
