One key supplier has switched to fossil-free energy

We’ve mentioned this before, but it’s worth repeating. Our main supplier of injection-moulded plastic components has switched to fossil-free energy. Talent Plastics Tartu has its production facilities in Estonia, where most energy is generated from fossil sources.

Nevertheless, they’ve now switched to fully renewable energy, which is a huge step. In plastic production, energy consumption constitutes a large proportion of the environmental impact. When you take a closer look at this at Talent Plastics Tartu, it seems as if this may provide a sustainability saving of between 50 and 60%. That’s not bad at all!
